mirror mirror on the wall

she just did her 6th mth jab yday. cried a little. 

dr yip said she has strong legs and her weight gain is healthy. she is about 7.6kg now, for girl should be ok and good size to manage. mum will not be able to carry her if she is over size.

all girls are vain, i supposed. at least it applied to most of the gals in my family. starting from my grandma - mum - me - joey - and now nat nat. she likes to see herself in the mirror and smiles widely. everytime when i say "mirror mirror on the wall ....." she will start to smile and get very excited. 

it is so amazing to see baby grow. at each stage she behaves differently and it changes almost every week. feel great to be a mum and just wait for nat nat to call me "mummy", think i will cry then...

joey's birthday

my dearest cousin birthday!

she always make me feel like i am young when i am with her. we had so much laughter and fun together and nat nat will be part of us when she grow up.

oh, joey, big girl huh, must continue to work hard to achieve what you wan to be.

i am 6 month old

nat nat turns 6 month on the 15th august and my mum start feeding her porridge.

the fish porridge is so tasty and nat nat can finish the whole bowl (baby bowl), and of course i will finish the remaining mouth in the claypot. baby's porridge is always very yummy, remember my auntie telling me that she will eat my baby porridge while she fed me (30+ years back).

and i bought walker for nat nat already. at least the walker can help her to seat upright. she has been quite lazy so the walker can train her. she is yet to stand on the feet, too early, so the walker is mainly for her to seat around watching tv and to play at the toy in front of her.

no, dun take me, i am changing!

my mummy is so busy that she doesn't have the time to update my blog.

because po po went for short trip and mummy has to full time looking after me. it is not easy cause i like to roll over in my sarong when i sleep and while i am sleeping in my cot. so mummy is very worried that i will hurt myself. 

mummy had so little sleep for the past few nights. and poor po po too, all these nights have been taking care of me.

nat nat smiles...

i am 5 month old!

nat nat can just roll over 180º or capsize on her sarong. then she will start eating her sarong until the whole patch wet! she enjoys! my mum is so worried that the hook that holds the sarong will give way. and i wonder how long can the sarong last?!?!?!

i start to increase her cereal intake. but still not enough for her, she will start crying once she finishes her cereal. not going to increase anymore until next month, will give her porridge. i  think if we cook porridge for nat nat, must prepare a lot more cause joey and hoon yee will want to eat baby porridge and actually me also lah. i will buy her apple juice as well and let her try out some apple next month.

 

nat nat - little cub

she is so steady when "peng". stay still and look around. stretch her neck to the fullest, turn left and right. the best part is she enjoys!

just realise that nat nat hates to see people wearing black. when someone wear black and stand in front of her, she will start to cry. she scared! we normally wear bright colours at home so we didn't notice it until last week, when i brought her to hair salon, wanting to trim her hair, she started crying once i stepped in. it never happen before. i am clueless. what make her cry? y? y? y? then a few days later we slowly found out that she doesn't like people with black outfit. my darling likes bright colours, like her mummy :) artistic people like colours!
